Kathleen Yamauchi, Founder

The Kathleen Yamauchi Group is deeply saddened to announce that Kathleen Yamauchi passed on Tuesday, March 27, 2018, at the age of 67. Kathleen’s passing concluded her nine-year battle with breast cancer.

Kathleen began her real estate career in Hawaii in 1980, but soon tabled her practice to focus on raising her family. After moving to Prescott, Arizona in 1991, Kathleen again earned her real estate license and was soon an established figure in the Prescott community. In 2002, Kathleen and her husband Shoyei opened their first real estate business that would eventually become the Kathleen Yamauchi Group Real Estate, where Kathleen worked as the designated broker until her passing.

Kathleen was a dedicated follower of Jesus Christ and the fruits of her faith were evident in all areas of her life. Throughout her career, Kathleen remained committed to conduct all her business with integrity and professionalism. She earned the respect of the Prescott real estate community for her honesty, kindness, and graciousness. Recognized for her impeccable character and diligent work ethic, Kathleen built a successful practice specializing in Prescott residential properties.

Kathleen’s business legacy will live on and through the Kathleen Yamauchi Group. Over the years, her business evolved into a boutique office with select agents operating as a team. Together, we remain dedicated to pursuing excellence in every aspect of our business, and serving our clients and the Prescott community with the same passion and commitment that Kathleen demonstrated.

We, as a team, wish to sincerely thank the many agents, clients, and the Prescott community at large for the tremendous outpouring of love and support in this season. We deeply mourn our loss of Kathleen, but we celebrate her exemplary life and hope to carry on her legacy in character, faith, and professionalism.
